Cary, NC

This position will report to the Cary, NC office but will have the ability to work from home if needed.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate with other engineers/designers, and field personnel in a team environment. They may be asked to perform site visits, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Ensure that all Field Service projects are delivered within scope, meet quality expectations, and are delivered within quoted pricing
  • Build and manage positive relationships with internal and external clients through regular communication
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with Field Service vendors, crews and subcontractors
  • Provide consistent project updates to clients, detailing changes to anticipated agreed upon deadlines, cost adjustments, and overall progress
  • Define field resources needed to meet client project objectives and complete task (manlift and safety requirements, inspection SOW, staffing) and manage resources and production in an effective and efficient manner
  • Meet with clients in person to maintain positive relationships, clarify specific requirements or discuss issues that may impact forecast dates
  • Receive project assignments and deploy and mobilize Field Crews to site locations
  • Troubleshooting or provide support to customers and onsite crews
  • Provide POR & Quotes within 24 to 48 hours of client's request with correct service fees
  • Ensure NTPs are categorized correctly in the Field Services Mailbox, identified as complete, and archived
  • Assure clients by making sure their concerns are responded to and/or given the appropriate follow-up
  • Verify that deliverables are received by crews and/or drafters are reviewed and delivered with the correct information at forecast
  • Provide, set, and meet accurate delivery timeframes to meet internal or external client dealines
  • Manage Project and delivery schedule when asked to define project timelines
  • Prepare, review, and submit accurate documentation on services field performed, including but not limited to field survey, mapping reports, A&E site walks (rooftop and tower), Geotechnical Reports
  • Assess product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications and improvements as needed
  • Manage project budget and monthly projection and cost savings when appropriate
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of telecommunications, infrastructural, design, and methods commonly used in commercial construction
  • Remain abreast of trends in layout and construction, and recommend their use where appropriate


  • Proficiency with AutoCAD software
  • Proficiency with project management software
  • Telecommunications field experience: 3 or more years (preferred) in Field Services, Telecommunications or Construction Management
  • Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification
  • Planning/Organizing - Excellent time management and organizational skills; sets goals and objectives; develops realistic action plans
  • Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; keeps commitments
