Q: Tell us about some of your background in Telecom/Wireless?

A: I started in Telecom in 1997 at STS Wireless after getting my Associates Degree in Drafting.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT - Rob Kitsteiner, Director of Engineering - West

August 14, 2020

Q: When did you start with INFINIGY?
A: August 2019

Q: Tell us about some of your background in Telecom/Wireless?

A: I started on the structural side, performing tower analyses and retrofits. I took over a team and we covered just about every structure type in the industry. After a while, I was asked to jump into A&E and oversee CD production as well. Since then, it's been a little bit of everything. MODs, FTI, NSB, Small Cell, Relo, Gens, Drop and Swap, DAS, Transport, and even some OSP.

Q: What drew you to come work for INFINIGY?

A: The people and the culture. When I interviewed, I was drawn into the team environment where everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy working together.

Q: How do you balance P/E (ROR, engineer of record) duties along with managing Engineering Services for a very busy West Region at INFINIGY?

A: I work with a lot of great people who are all excellent at their jobs. My job is to put people in the right position and give them what they need to provide an excellent product for our customers. Having the luxury to fully trust my team allows me to focus on the items that require my direct attention.

Q: What do you find most satisfying about your day-to-day work?

A: I like to find solutions, and doing so collaboratively is the best form of that. One day I can be helping on a technical design, and the next I can be supporting a Project Manager in dealing with a difficult jurisdiction. Navigating the technical as well as the interpersonal to find a solution brings satisfaction to every day.

Q: List some of your hobbies/interests outside of work?

A: I like to play trivia weekly-ish (lately it has moved to Zoom), brew my own beer, support the Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat, fiddle with my Rubik's cube, and I have an ever-increasing collection of board games.

INFINIGY's Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic

April 6, 2020

INFINIGY’s number one concern during the Covid-19 pandemic is to keep everyone including our employees, clients, and contractors safe. We are continuing to operate business as usual without putting business considerations above the health of our employees. The US Department of Homeland Security released a statement requesting all courtesies be extended to any workers insuring the continuance of essential communication infrastructure facilities. As professional service providers to the wireless telecommunication industry, we need to continue servicing wireless communication sites to the extent it is reasonably feasible, provided operations meets or exceeds the social distancing requirements of keeping at least six (6)feet of distance between others at all times.

INFINIGY employees that are able, are being asked and set-up to work remotely from home. This policy not only protects our employees from potential exposure to COVID-19 but also allows us to continue meeting all deadlines to our clients.

Scott Loubier Replaces John Stevens as CEO of INFINIGY

February 10, 2020

After 19 years, INFINIGY’s Founder and CEO John Stevens has decided to step down to pursue new opportunities outside of the Telecom Services. Scott Loubier, current Vice President of Site Acquisition, has been named the company’s new CEO effective February 10th 2020. John will continue to stay on in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition. Stevens feels “Scott is a leader with a wealth of experience both with INFINIGY and in the Wireless industry. Both Magic and I felt it was important to promote from within and Scott is a great candidate to drive INFINIGY’s success.”
